ML Café Podcast: Dr Eugene Dubossarsky on real vs hype in decades of ML

Our very own Eugene Dubossarsky talks to Miklos Toth and Levente Szabados in this episode of Machine Learning Café. Eugene Dubossarsky is Chief Data Scientist at AlphaZetta and co-founder at multiple data science companies in Australia. He is also Managing Partner of AlphaZetta Academy and the principal trainer. Eugene has been dealing with machine learning since the 80’s, so you can imagine he has a very strong opinion about different topics in this industry. In the podcast they talk about random forests, neural nets, boosting strategies, the importance of understanding data and statistics. They also couldn’t skip talking about the effects of the current and upcoming crisis either.
