About the AlphaZetta Incubator Forum

A start-up and funding advice forum where you can get supportive advice and feedback from angel investors and experts.

So, if you have a start-up, an app, IP or just an idea and want advice on how to make successful, the AZ Incubator Forum gives you the chance to privately present your ideas and plans to seasoned entrepreneurs and angel investors.

It’s a little bit like a supportive and private version of the Dragons Den or Shark Tank. The atmosphere is relaxed and designed for coaching. Sessions are 45 min length and there’s a limited number available.

The AlphaZetta Incubator Forum is supported by Rajah Blue Capital an investment house that specializes in direct startup funding.

He has 25 years of deep practical experience globally. He has held senior positions with clients and large consulting firms. He has won several awards for innovation in analytics including as a Finalist for Australia’s Young Business Person of the Year Awards.
Stephen Brobst
Stephen BrobstAdvisory Board
Stephen Brobst is the Chief Technology Officer for Teradata Corporation. Stephen performed his graduate work in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his Masters and PhD research focused on high-performance parallel processing. He also completed an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Stephen is a TDWI Fellow and has been on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute since 1996. During Barack Obama’s first term he was also appointed to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) in the working group on Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD). In 2014 he was ranked by ExecRank as the #4 CTO in the United States (behind the CTOs from Amazon.com, Tesla Motors, and Intel) out of a pool of 10,000+ CTOs.

Alec is a business analytics leader with over 20 years experience across the financial services, communications and public sectors. In previous director level roles at Teradata Australia/NZ, Alec led teams assisting clients with digitisation via the application of cutting edge analytics, including helping to develop new approaches to innovation and discovery analytics. He has a proven capability for managing high performing teams of exceptional talent.
In addition to sales and consulting management, Alec has experience in global product and services strategy, go to market and field enablement, allowing him to make a profound contribution to AlphaZetta’s global strategy and service portfolio.

The first of Sydney’s northern beaches. It’s an 18 min Ferry ride from the CBD, close enough to be connected but far enough to really get away and focus on analytics and knowledge sharing for a day.

Getting there

The Novotel Manly Pacific is 25km from Sydney Airport

  • Fly into Sydney (SYD) and connect via Uber ~AUD$75 (USD$52) or taxi and allow around 45 min for the trip.
  • Or take the train from the airport to Circular Quay (one change at Central Station) and then transfer to the Manly Ferry for the 18 min fast ferry AUD $18.90 or the $7.65 public ferry for a 30 min trip, or you can book transfers directly with your hotel
